You will be joining KRE, a premium Indian sneaker brand founded by 2 IIT-IIM grads, that focuses on celebrating self-expression and individuality through thoughtfully designed footwear. As a Footwear Designer, your role will involve ideating and designing footwear products, creating technical drawings, and contributing to the product development process. Your responsibilities will include developing mood boards, conceptualizing innovative designs, and ensuring that the final products align with the brand's vision of individuality and style.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ideate and design footwear products that embody personality, culture, and daily identity
- Create technical drawings for the footwear designs
- Contribute to the product development process by providing innovative design concepts
- Develop mood boards for design inspiration and concepts
- Ensure that the final products align with the brand's vision of individuality and style
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in designing sneakers
- Knowledge of materials used in footwear design
- Must be open to working in a startup environment
- Prior footwear design experience in a startup is preferred
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Product Design
- Expertise in Industrial Design and Product Development processes
- Experience in creating Mood Boards for design inspiration and concepts
- Strong understanding of fashion and footwear trends
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with design software and tools
