Django & DevOps Engineer (Strong Coding Expertise Required)

Experience: You have at least 5–7 years of solid experience in several of the following areas: Django, DevOps (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes), AWS (ECS, EC2, S3), scalable SaaS solutions, infrastructure automation, microservices architecture, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and implementing security best practices.

2. Motivation: You are motivated to contribute a part-time job without immediate compensation until the company is funded. Upon funding, you will either receive vested shares if you join the team full-time or be compensated for the work completed prior to funding. This is not an unpaid role—you will either be paid for your contribution upon funding and/or receive the first-level employee's vesting share plus salary when coming full-time.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Django & DevOps Engineer with a strong background in coding, particularly in the development of scalable SaaS solutions. You will be instrumental in building and optimizing the infrastructure that supports our AI-driven health platform.

Responsibilities:

- Django Development: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure SaaS solutions using Django.

- DevOps Leadership: Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and automate infrastructure deployment on AWS.

- Infrastructure & Security: Design and implement secure, scalable architectures, including load balancing, auto-scaling, and monitoring, while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA.

- Database Management: Manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Microservices & APIs: Develop and integrate microservices using Django, ensuring seamless interaction with our AI and ML models.

- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with AI and front-end teams to ensure the back-end infrastructure supports our cutting-edge AI solutions effectively.

- Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, whether they relate to scaling, performance, or security, with innovative and reliable solutions.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in Django development and DevOps, with a proven track record of deploying and managing scalable SaaS solutions.

- Proficiency in Python and Django, with strong coding expertise.

- Deep experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.

- Extensive knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, RDS) and cloud architecture.

- Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

- Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with compliance standards like HIPAA.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields, along with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in software development and DevOps.

- Experience working in a startup environment.

- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept through completion.
