The mission of our founding software engineer is to establish a strong foundation for our engineering team, ensuring the scalability and quality of our features.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement core parts of the application from scratch, including web-based, Windows, and Sharing UX components.
Collaborate with the team to improve existing codebase and practices, providing expertise and guidance on significant changes.
Develop and maintain high-quality features, with a focus on timely delivery and iterative improvement.
Engage with customers and conduct research independently, without requiring a product manager.
Requirements
2-10 years of extensive JavaScript work experience.
Proven ability to work on a single project for 2+ years and explain the evolution of early code and trade-offs.
Experience with shipping a product independently without a product manager or tech lead.
Familiarity with Gen AI and ability to ask good questions and prompts.
Strong founder DNA, including prior founder experience, early startup employees, or side projects.
