Here at Gousto, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team as an analyst. You will be part of a team that reports and analyses all of Gousto’s financial metrics, regularly reporting on actual results, forecasts and budgets.
This role will own a key finance system and the re-forecasting process, as well as business partnering with the People Team
Core Responsibilities
• Responsible for administering Gousto’s FP&A software tool, Planful. The Finance team uses this tool for reporting actuals and forecast scenarios, and the People team for salary forecasting
• Ensure the tool contains accurate data and is useable by the teams
• Finance ownership of the monthly re-forecasting process. Your role is to own the overall timetable, ensuring an up-to-date forecast is completed by the deadline
• Business partnering with the People team about salary costs, involving monthly reporting of actuals vs targets, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.
• Preparing monthly performance slides for the management team to present to their teams
• Updating the Long Term Plan Excel model for monthly results
• FP&A lead for cost items - you will own analysis for these areas
• Providing support to the senior team members for processes such as month-end, weekly and monthly forecasts, credit insurance presentations, and annual budgeting
Who you are
• Strong Excel and/or GSuite skills
• Experience with an ERP system. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential
• Interest in finance systems, as this role requires ownership of the Planful system
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly summarise financial information into an easy-to-understand format for a wide range of stakeholders
• Able to be discreet, as you will be dealing with confidential information
• Have a growth mindset, as this is how you’ll excel at the role.
Qualifications
• Studying towards or qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
