Benefits

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $170,000 to $220,000 when calculated on a full-time basis
Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, and market supply/demand

In-House Fractional General Counsel (Part-Time Contract Engagement; Hybrid in Northern Virginia)

Our client, a highly successful construction company, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Fractional General Counsel to work with the company on an engagement basis. The Fractional General Counsel will rely on past experience in construction law to assist with a variety of legal tasks including negotiating, drafting, and redlining large construction contracts, assisting with internal processes and procedures including those related to employment law and employee handbooks, evaluating and advising as to state-specific laws that may impact the company’s contracts and business operations, providing guidance as to equipment lease terms, and handling disputes, litigation, and other legal proceedings, including managing outside counsel when necessary.
