We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and construction, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves constructing frameworks for buildings, ensuring structural integrity, and adhering to safety standards. A commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail is essential.
*Responsibilities*
- Construct and assemble wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Utilize power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete framing tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of framing with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for materials and equipment during the framing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety protocols are met.
*Skills*
- Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Ability to work from heights whether from ladders and scaffolding, or on floor structures and roof structures.
-Fall protection certification is required.
- Strong skills in building frameworks accurately according to blueprints or specifications.
- Knowledge of drywall ininstallation as well as other trades ie plumbing and electrical is beneficial.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all framing activities.
