Job Description
Saddleback Structures is seeking an energetic and eager Framer/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working alongside the lead hand or foreman and assisting them in framing and metal cladding, site cleanup, and keeping tools and equipment clean and organized. If you have experience in heavy lifting, power tools operation, and a passion for building, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Take instruction from lead hand or foreman
- Perform heavy lifting and assembly of structural elements
- Keep site tidy and trailers clean
- Work with various materials including wood, metal, and concrete
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
- Come with a can do attitude every day and a willingness to learn and you will succeed here
- Punctual
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in framing or carpentry
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labour
- Basic knowledge of using power tools
- Knowledge of metal cladding is an asset but can be taught
- Experience working around heavy equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship skills
- Must have a valid drivers license
