Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Framers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various materials and tools to construct frameworks and wooden roof truss for buildings, ensuring that all structures are safe, durable, and meet design specifications.
Duties
Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
Construct frameworks and roof truss for buildings using wood, or other materials.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for construction tasks.
Execute roof truss, sheathing, siding, window/ door installation and restoration projects with precision.
Operate aerial lift equipment when required for specific tasks.
Conduct heavy lifting of materials as necessary throughout the construction process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry or construction-related fields.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
Familiarity with roof truss / sheathing installation techniques
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
Knowledge of woodworking principles and practices is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
