2+ Years of experience in Financial Services experiences in the area of Fraud & Risk
2+ years’ experience in analytics
Strong preference working in financial services in the field of fraud or risk
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to self-direct, with minimal supervision to achieve assigned goals
Highly organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills
Ability to successfully interface with internal and external partners
Knowledge of data extraction tools such as Teradata, Hive or HUE will be useful
Experience with packaging and communicating executive level presentations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical
Experience explaining analytics in plain English and ability with communicating associated risk
Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization
Ability to research and propose practical remediation
Experience w/ application of the DMAIC process

The role will be responsible for several key areas:
Testing existing customer facing capabilities (credit/debit/atm transactions, deposit activity, online activities) for unknown vulnerabilities open to potential fraudulent exploitation which lead to large unplanned loss events
Assist our core Fraud Strategy partners with development of new tactics by conducting/faciliating controlled tests/simulations within the production environment
Perform assessments on new bank initiatives and external emerging banking capabilities that impact our customers
Participate in triage activities related to Executive Escalations & Incident Response activities related to fraud matters
Provide consultation with respect to designing strategic fraud controls
Analyze risk findings, including risk analysis and root cause analysis

The Client Protection Organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced risk professional to join our team as a Fraud Analyst for a newly formed Fraud RED Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to strategically put yourself in the mindset of a bad actor and probe for weaknesses in the system. The ultimate objective of helping this instituation plan and prepare for new emerging threats.

Required Skillsets:

Desired Skills:
• Experience with more than one product area within Financial Services (Credit, Deposit, and Digital)
• Proven track record of building and deploying analytical solutions that have resulted in material financial results.
• Intermediate proficiency in SAS and SQL. Knowledge of data extraction tools such as Teradata, Hive or HUE will be useful.
