Job responsibilities
Work closely with Fraud Strategy, Product and User Acceptance Testing teams to ensure business requirements for rules changes are properly captured, tested, and validated
Work closely with Fraud strategy partners to identify data needs necessary for fraud and scams analytics using internal and external data
Understand business needs, including how data is used and managed for fraud strategy and scam.
Develop enhancements to process flows and data provision steps to meet analytics, strategy, and data needs on a as needed basis
Partner with Fraud Strategy leads to discover trends within current rules and strategies to manage losses and claims in fraud Digital Payments, Authentication, and Servicing
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
BA/BS degree in a business discipline from an accredited college/university
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the financial services, payments, or merchant servicers
Ability to understand complex business requirements, dependencies, and relationships, and concisely transform that understanding into documented business requirements for technical teams to design and build solutions
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Ability to develop new creative solutions to challenges presented by fraud activity leveraging outside the box thinking
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex data into a clear story to team members as well as senior leaders
Ability to work on diverse tasks and respond to emerging issues
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Prior experience in operational Risk Management and controls
Prior experience in Fraud, Digital Payments, Authentication, Servicing, or other related risk fields
Expertise in SAS, Oracle/SQL or other programming language experience including Python/R is a plus
Knowledge of Decision Engine Rules management
