Voiceover Interpreting Services is looking for fluent Brazilian Portuguese speakers with fluency in English to join our team of freelance interpreters.
Please note Brazilian Portuguese is a low-demand language, so assignments may be infrequent and offered on an as-needed basis.
Please only apply if you meet one of the following:
At least Level 3 qualification in Community Interpreting OR at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience and registration with a corporate language service provider.
You are able to travel to in-person appointments within the Glasgow area.
Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

The Role
As a freelance linguist with Voiceover, you’ll provide:
In-person, video, and telephone interpreting (if qualified/experienced as an interpreter)
You’ll work flexibly—choose assignments that suit you, with the option to sometimes work remotely for video/telephone/translation jobs. We pay competitive rates and reimburse travel time and expenses for in-person jobs.
What We’re Looking For:
Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese
Excellent communication and professionalism
Proven qualification/experience as outlined above
Self-employed status
Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy
