Freelance Database Manager.
We are looking for a highly capable Freelance Database Manager to enhance the performance of our organization's database. You will be creating and implementing standardized database management procedures, and overseeing the installation, security, and upgrading of our database. After developing the dataset, you will be responsible for testing it extensively to ensure accuracy. Data troubleshooting, security, backup, and integrity are critical parts of your job.
Role and Responsibilities
· Enhances the effectiveness of database tools and services.
. ETL (Database Migration), understanding of Web API's and LINQ Queries, Query Optimization.
· Developing database structures and features according to organizational needs.
· Protecting data by developing data security and restoration policies, procedures, and controls.
· Ensures that information is backed-up, secured, and protected.
· Monitors database performance and improve the technology.
· Builds new databases and troubleshoots issues.
· Keeping up to date with developments and trends in database management.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets (My SQL, Maria DB etc)
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
· 5-10 years of experience in database management and
· 5-10 years of experience designing, developing, and producing reports from a database application
· Proficiency in Azure Services and MS Office Suite
· Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (MY SQL).
· Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to troubleshoot software issues
