Job Description
Atlas Fort Worth is an upscale lounge and restaurant in the fast- growing Near Southside Community a block south of downtown Fort Worth, seeking a dynamic and driven Freelance Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales and securing private events at our venue. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for event planning and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation: Proactively seek and secure private events, including corporate gatherings, social events, and special occasions. Engage with local social media influencers, journalists, other media to drive business. Engage with social chairs of local university fraternities, sororities, club organization, professional organizations etc.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to event execution.
Event Coordination: Work closely with clients to plan and coordinate all aspects of their events, including menu selection, venue setup, and entertainment.
Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients and events.
Budget Management: Ensure all events are delivered within the agreed budget and maximize profitability for the venue.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and event outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales and event coordination, preferably within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
Strong network within the local community and a demonstrated ability to generate new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of local market trends and competition.
