Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 13 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.
Role Information:
Glitch Productions is seeking a talented graphic designer to develop assets for their marketing, merchandising, and brand departments. The role will involve designing promotional graphics, brand assets and packaging for Glitch and their popular IPs, including The Amazing Digital Circus, Murder Drones and future shows. Ensuring all designs are exciting, engaging and visually consistent to the respective brand.
Your duties will include:
Designing enticing promotional material for our social media streams that include marketing Glitch’s shows, events and their merchandise products.
Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts for our branding and merchandising teams including product packaging and brand assets i.e. brand bibles, pitch decks, patterns and icons.
Collaborate with creative leads and other stakeholders to understand design needs and goals and iterate on new and existing designs.
Preparing files for licensing, promotional and partnership use such as vectorising existing brand graphics or ensuring the correct dimensions of design material for print.
A successful candidate will have:
Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
Strong typography and layout design skills.
Excellent understanding and application of color theory.
Keen artistic vision for harmonizing visual elements from existing brands into cohesive, aesthetically pleasing designs.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Be extremely organized and have a strong work ethic.
Engaging personality and willingness to learn.
Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.
Bonus Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and time management skills.
An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
