Job Details

We have an opening for a Maori language teacher in Canberra. This role involves providing one-on-one lessons to a client in need of general Maori classes. The course consists of 30 hours, divided into two-hour sessions conducted weekly on Wednesday or Thursday. Flexibility regarding class locations (home or public) and scheduling is appreciated, given mutual convenience.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this position, you must:

Be a native speaker of Maori or hold a relevant teaching certification

Have experience as a language educator, translator, or interpreter

Hold a current working visa

Reside within a short distance (less than 20 miles) of the client's location

Adapt to varying class settings and schedules according to mutual agreement
