Job Description
Webmind Softech is looking for Freelance iOS and Android Mobile App Developers (Work From Home) to collaborate with our design team to develop visually appealing responsive web sites and branded experiences.
Specific responsibilities include:
– Work with designers to convert PSD page layouts into code
– Develop visually appealing responsive web sites and branded experiences
– Optimize and test across all major browsers on desktop and mobile devices
– Implementing SEO strategies across all of web platforms
– Troubleshoots and provides continual maintenance and upgrades of web sites
Required Skills and Characteristics
– Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
– Knowledge of PHP, MySQL and other scripting languages
– Expert knowledge of WordPress. Joomla and Drupal a plus
– Expert at converting PSD compositions into code
– Experience in mobile web and app development
– Working knowledge of cross-browser and platform consistencies/quirks
– Strong attention to detail, design sense and passion for best practices
– Experience with layout and design applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator
– Comfort working with a team, collective brainstorming, and incorporating feedback and creative direction into a final product
– Ability to work remotely using your own computer
Experience and Educational Background
– 1-3-5+ years development experience
– Bachelor’s degree a plus
– Agency experience a plus
– Strong references required

Compensation for this part-time position is competitive and commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications.
