Full job description
We’re looking for a freelance or part-time Paid Media Specialist to join our team in an ongoing role with steady responsibilities. This isn’t a one-off gig; you’ll be an important part of planning, managing, and optimizing ad campaigns that drive real business results for our clients. Meta is our primary platform. Candidates who are open to eventually transitioning to full-time will be given strong preference.
What You’ll Do
Plan, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Monitor performance daily and optimize to improve ROAS, CPA, and other key metrics
Develop targeting strategies based on client goals and customer profiles
Write briefs for our creative team for ad copy, graphics, and video assets
Write ad copy
Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations
Stay up-to-date with platform updates, tools, and best practices
Must-Have Experience
Proven track record managing paid Meta ad campaigns for brands or agencies
Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
Experience optimizing campaigns for sales/leads (not just impressions/clicks)
Ability to set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking (Pixel, Conversions API, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
Strong analytical skills—comfortable pulling insights from data to guide strategy
Communication & Work Style
Must be highly responsive: all messages should be acknowledged within 1–2 hours during business hours
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts at once
Collaborative and comfortable working with creatives, strategists, and clients
Professional and capable of representing the company in client communications
Nice to Have
Experience with LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, X Ads, or YouTube Ads
Familiarity with landing page optimization and CRO principles
A B.A. or higher degree in marketing or a related field
