I’m looking for a freelance content shooter / camera operator to help capture ongoing social media content for my business.
This is an ongoing freelance opportunity with potential for up to 6 shoots per month. Shoots will generally run for 4–6 hours and may involve multiple locations across Melbourne and the CBD, so reliable transport is essential.
What the role involves
You’ll be helping film:
short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
social media photo content
content captured on both iPhone and Sony mirrorless camera gear
Ideal candidate
You are:
reliable, punctual, professional, and have your own transport
confident filming in public spaces
comfortable working in high-visibility, busy environments such as streets, shopping centres, elevators, and other public locations
SW / adult-industry friendly, discreet, and non-judgmental
confident shooting on iPhone
experienced with Sony mirrorless cameras, or able to learn quickly
detail-oriented, creative, and able to capture flattering, engaging social media content
calm under pressure and not easily embarrassed or distracted by public attention
comfortable taking direction in a close, movement-heavy shoot environment
comfortable filming a female creator
Role details
Rate: $50 to $80 per hour (depending on experience)+ $50 travel reimbursement per shoot provided
Editing is not required, this role is for capture only
All camera equipment will be provided
Preferred experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
short-form social media content
UGC
photography / videography
fashion, lifestyle, personal brand, or creator content
