Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the project team on-site to define software requirements and develop a clear roadmap for the hotel management software.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions tailored specifically to the needs of hotel management.
Implement key functionalities, including reservation management, check-in/check-out processes, room inventory management, billing and invoicing, reporting, and integration with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways).
Ensure the software is user-friendly, intuitive, and responsive, providing a seamless experience for both hotel staff and guests.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the software's capabilities and adapt to changing business requirements.
Collaborate with other team members, such as designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality software that meets client expectations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a software developer, with a focus on developing web-based applications or software solutions.
Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript) and frameworks.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems.
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with an on-site team
A portfolio of past projects or relevant work samples will be highly advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in developing hotel management software or related hospitality systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and deployment methodologies.
