Role Description
At Upspiral, Our niche includes non-coding skills such as Linux, networking, database management, shell scripting, cloud technology, and more. We are seeking a freelance content writer who can commit to a monthly contract. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of technical topics and be capable of cross-referencing concepts from reliable sources, ensuring accuracy and depth in our content.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Creating original and authentic content around technical subjects, particularly for blog posts.
Crafting engaging social media copies to promote our blog posts on platforms like Facebook and other relevant channels.
We expect 3 such posts every week posted across the blogs and social media channel. You can assume 6-10 hours of work every week dependending upon your proficiency.
We believe in providing our writers with topics, reference materials, and links to external sources for content validation. We expect our content writers to not only comprehend the underlying technology but also communicate it effectively to our audience.
One of our key objectives is to minimise the need for extensive intervention on our part after the initial collaboration period of a month. We value self-sufficiency and independence in our freelance writers. However, we are always open to constructive feedback and collaboration to achieve the best results.
Qualifications
Technical Content Writing skills, Social Media Copy Writing Skills
Good Understand of SEO copy and Readability Scores
Ability to organize information and present it in a clear and concise manner
Proficiency in using tools such as Wordpress, Canva and more
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in technical support or software development is a plus
