About the Role
We’re looking for a Part-Time Freelance Video Editor (3 month contract) who understands social media, pop culture, UGC-style content and how to make it perform on Meta ads. You’ll be editing high-energy, engaging ads that showcase Raycon’s products in a way that feels authentic, social-first, and native to the platform. If you have an eye for fast-paced, retention-focused editing and know how to bring out the best in UGC, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Edit UGC-style video ads for Meta and YouTube that highlight Raycon’s wireless earbuds and headphones.
Apply dynamic captions, engaging text overlays, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer retention.
Ensure all content is optimized for various aspect ratios (1:1, +:16, 16:+) for different placements.
Use hook-first editing techniques to make Raycon’s ads scroll-stopping and engaging.
Work closely with our creative team to test different ad variations and improve performance.
Maintain a fast turnaround while ensuring top-quality, high-performing content.
Requirements
Proven experience editing UGC-style ads for e-commerce, DTC brands (portfolio required).
Deep understanding of social-first editing styles (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro similar editing software.
Ability to transform raw UGC footage into polished, high-converting ads.
Understanding of hook-first editing, quick cuts, and viewer retention strategies.
Strong attention to detail, ability to take feedback, and quick turnaround time.Bonus Points If You:
Have experience with motion graphics and animation.
Understand Meta ad performance metrics and what makes a great performing ad.
Can source trending audio and sound effects to enhance edits.
