We are growing rapidly, and looking for self-motivated, Senior PHP Freelance Engineers for out SAAS CMS Platform. Heady is looking to build out multiple teams to work on high availability scalable backend systems that will support mobile and web applications for major retailers.

The ideal candidates for this position will have a broad technical skill set and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products required for the company's needs. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain scalable WebApplication & RESTful APIs for middleware and partner applications using PHP, Laravel, bash/shell script, JSON data formats.
Implement industry best practices for API security, policies and versioning strategy.
Prepare and plan test environments, execute system tests, and assist with execution of user
acceptance tests.
Ability to understand the complete API architecture landscape including on-premise and cloud
infrastructure, and plan to automate processes.
Perform capacity and performance testing of APIs.
Create and/or modify documentation for programs, process flow, test scripts or other software
application needs, with the supervision and technical direction of the project development team lead.
Perform software applications programming, unit tests, string tests and write user documentation.
Develop detailed design, technical design and unit test plan; functional program design; and
technical program design, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in PHP, Laravel
Object Oriented Programming experience (PHP).
Experience working with Domain Driven Development.
Experience and understanding of various databases (MongoDB NoSQL, SQL).
Experience in in-memory storages like Redis.
Experience in Cloud based PaaS offerings such as AWS
Experience in scripting using bash/Shell/Python.
Experience with BitBucket/Git for source control
Experience with Microservices Development
Prototyping and discovery
Experience in working in Agile methodologies (scrum or kanban).
Great collaborator and communicator with teammates and business partners
Communicate technical direction cross-team architecture impacts across the organization
Good to have working experience in NodeJS/ Typescript
Experience Required:
5+ years of experience in Software and systems development role.
Minimum 1 year of experience in RESTful API development and management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
