Job Title: Data Engineer - Unity Catalog
Location: Remote
Experience: 7+ years
Job Description:
We are urgently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. This is a remote role with a competitive compensation package. If you have a passion for data engineering and have hands-on experience with Unity Catalog and the latest data technologies, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in a cloud-based environment (Azure).
• Implement and optimize data workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and PySpark.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data processing and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and scalability of data solutions.
• Work with Git for version control and Azure DevOps (ADO) for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Provide insights and visualizations using PowerBI (basics required).
• Manage and maintain Unity Catalog 2+ for data governance and data access management.
Must-Have Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and PySpark.
• Proficient in SQL for querying, data transformations, and integration.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic experience in PowerBI (for data visualization).
• Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
