We are seeking security focused individuals with high attention to detail who have an interest in pursuing a career in the Aviation and Transport Sector. Due to recent changes in legislation, ISS is excited to offer a new pathway to being becoming a Freight Aviation Protection Officer across multiple sites in Perth on a Casual or Part Time basis.

About The Position:
Seeking a new career path with an interest in security and aviation? This role plays a critical part in a national team of security professionals, operating screening equipment, managing cargo flow, and following strict procedures to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient operation—all while delivering a high standard of customer service and supporting seamless day-to-day activities.
You will be:
Efficiently operate screening equipment to ensure the security of cargo and assets
Keep things moving smoothly by managing the flow of goods and services through our facilities
Follow process control documentation, including safe work method statements and work instructions, to maintain a secure and compliant environment
What we are looking for:
Willing to commit to complete company provided training to gain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) OR currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo).
Ability to successfully pass drug and ******* screening and medical assessments including an Ishihara test.
Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance in the past 10 years) which ISS pay for.
A QLD Security License is highly desired!
Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have own reliable vehicle.
Availability to work across a 24/7 rotational roster.

About the Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Cargo) (TSP):
Aviation security is an important industry, to meet new and emerging threat levels, specific theoretical knowledge has been passed through Parliament as a requirement for all Aviation Screeners.
As the Employer AND Training Provider, we are in a unique position to guide and support you through the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) and 40 hours paid On-the-Job Training required for all Aviation Screeners preparing you for your new role as a Freight Aviation Protection Officer, with our Registered Training Organisation.
This nationally recognised qualification is offered at the cost of $1000 (normally valued at $2000). This includes approximately 25 hours online learning plus 5 days of paid practical training delivered within our airport operations as well as access to webinars and online support while you gain your qualification.
