Position: Freight Broker
Job Purpose: -
Freight Broker serves as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure transportation of goods. Freight Brokers do marketing to attract new customers, pair customers with freight carriers, book orders and line carriers up for loading.

Education Requirements: -
1- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent or specific relevant experience
Experience Requirements: -
1- Minimum 6 months to 4 years of experience into US Logistics and freshers can also apply.
2- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
3- Team Player
4- Quick Follow Through
5- Good Interpersonal Skills
6- Demonstrated ability to meet sales target.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: -
1- Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.
2- Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
3- Providing customers with shipping quotes.
4- Booking orders with carriers.
5- Assisting to prepare carrier for loads.
6- Tracking status of loads.
7- Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.
8- Keeping accurate record of relevant activities.
+- Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.
10- Require 100 out bound calls to customers on daily basis.
