Responsibilities
Work alongside experienced industry professionals to learn the day-to-day functions of freight forwarding logistics
Provide administrative and operational support to the Branch Manager and other departments including data entry, ISF filings (customs compliance), open and closing files, etc
Contribute to the development of a best-in-class Customs Brokerage service product
Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding customer service while leveraging opportunities to grow our business
Learn how to drive results through identify, prioritizing, and resolving service challenges in a fast-paced environment
Gain continuous knowledge of supply-chain based software systems including CargoWise
Apply your curriculum knowledge and experiences across multiple areas of the transportation and logistics industry to make a real impact in our organization
You roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile for our customers

Janel Group is seeking a freight-forwarding logistics intern to join our team! The logistics industry is ever-growing, and we want you to be a part of the Janel difference. This paid internship will immerse you in the fun and exciting logistics and customs industries with the potential to join us full-time post internship! This internship is based in our Miami, FL Office and will last 3-6 months.
What You Will Do:
