Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our front office team at the Hampton Inn New Orleans French Qtr. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent guest service and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Manage front desk operations, including checking in and out guests, handling room assignments, and resolving guest complaints.
Supervise and train front desk staff, including agents and managers, to ensure they are providing exceptional guest service and adhering to hotel standards.
Assist with recruitment, selection, and training of new front desk staff members.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to improve guest satisfaction and hotel performance.
Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest registration, room inventory, and revenue management data.
Requirements:
At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
College coursework in a related field helpful.
Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
