DSB is looking for an enthusiastic teacher of the French Language to continue our successful French Language programme which is recognised by the French Government Schools of Excellence in French award. Our teaching and learning are strongly focused on students’ future readiness. Many of our students do DELF language proficiency exams in addition to the IGCSE and IB Diploma. A successful candidate would be expected to help continue the exchange programme and look for additional opportunities for French Language immersion for our learners. DSB believes in authentic learning and we are looking for a teacher who can bring the French language and culture alive for our students. We are also developing a research culture in the school and are leaders globally in AI for learning. The successful candidate must have:
· minimum two years teaching experience in a relevant curriculum.
Ideally also have some if not all of the following attributes:
· experience of having taught IBDP or at least, A level/AP French;
· a recognised teaching qualification;
· experience teaching across the age and ability range in Secondary;
· experience of working with students for whom English is an additional language is desirable;
· confidence in using AI for learning
