As a Fresher Fashion Designer you will be responsible for creating original designs with a strong focus on current fashion trends and consumer preferences. Responsibilities
Researching current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create draft designs.
Creating sketches and designs by drawing, painting and using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Collaborating with other designers, merchandisers and suppliers to develop new products that meet market needs.
Selecting fabrics and trims that meet design requirements.
Creating sample garments and prototypes.
Conducting fittings, making any necessary modifications and finalizing designs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Strong design, drawing and illustration skills.
Good understanding of current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
