Position Overview Role Summary: Lending is a key growth driver of the WM India business accounting for 60%+ of the revenue. With ambitious growth targets for 2021 and beyond, the Coverage team is being expanded to drive business volumes. The Structurer works closely with Sales/Coverage, Origination and/or Trading and helps deliver tailored structured products/solutions/platforms to the Bank/clients, in line with the specified needs and in alignment with the strategy of the Bank/Division. The Structurer will develop solutions/platforms based on a good understanding of the Bank/client's needs (e.g. risk appetite, time horizon, coupon level and/or frequency basket composition, tax schemes) and may participate in client meetings along with Sales/Coverage to advise on the key features of the structured product and help close the deal. They will also have responsibility for monitoring ongoing transactions and be involved in the review/drafting of marketing, deal execution materials and internal desk reports. The Structurer will also have responsibility for obtaining all required approvals through the NPA/NTA process. Where the role includes management oversight of a team of Structurers/Structuring Analysts, the Structurer will provide advice and guidance to the team on daily structuring activities/the more complex transactions/platforms and ensure adherence to all relevant internal policies and external legal/regulatory requirements. Origination and structuring of lending credit proposals tailored to address specific client needs. Ensure asset quality of WM India loan book is maintained at a high level with the objective of maintaining Nil Non-Performing Assets status. Drive New Product introduction relating to the WM India Lending business. Ensure achievement of Priority Sector Lending targets of WM India. Close tracking of Priority Sector Lending targets, drawing up of action plan to meet these targets and implementation of these action plans. Judiciously exercise credit / excess approval authority as per credit authority delegation with adequate due diligence and follow up. Updating, streamlining and ongoing
