Job Summary:
We are looking for an Operations Associate with to support day-to-day operational activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to optimizing internal processes and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing day-to-day operational tasks and workflows.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient business operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement operational strategies.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports and present findings to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose actionable solutions.
• Support the Operations Manager in managing vendor relationships and negotiations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any operational issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
• Fresher in an operations or related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Please Note:
This is a full time position. Selected candidates have to work from the IIT Madras office. Working hours will be Mon-Fri +am to 6pm. Weekend follow-up work will be there on a need basis. Accommodation in Chennai has to be arranged by the candidate. Accommodation within the IIT Madras campus is not available. This is not a permanent job position either with the Central Government of India or IIT Madras.
