Data Entry Intern
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Updating: Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in spreadsheets (primarily Microsoft Excel) and various database systems.
Data Sorting and Cleaning: Performing routine data audits, cleaning, and sorting to eliminate errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
Report Generation Assistance: Helping to compile simple reports and summaries from collected data to assist management.
Basic Research: Conducting straightforward online research to gather, verify, or supplement existing datasets as needed.
Document Organization: Organizing and maintaining digital files, folders, and documentation to ensure easy retrieval and adherence to organizational standards.
Quality Control: Verifying the integrity of data and ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
Administrative Support: Assisting with other ad-hoc administrative and data-related tasks as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., creating and managing spreadsheets, using basic formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, and VLOOKUP, and sorting/filtering data).
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
