Financial Resource Management (FRM) provides in-business leadership on capital and liquidity management and efficiency across the Institutional Clients Group. The team exists to solve complex problems, concentrating on regulatory & capital optimization opportunities to support the business strategy of the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) franchise. In partnership with Risk, Finance, Front Office, Compliance, and Technology groups, FRM provides guidance, structure, and analysis for efficiency efforts and project portfolios.
The Strategic Projects team collaborates across both FRM and the ICG franchises to track, manage, and coordinate programs from initiation to delivery. Strategic Projects exist to facilitate collaboration between various teams, to manage risks and issues during the project lifecycle, and identify high-impact issues that require solutions. FRM Strategic Projects India VP
In view of heightened expectations from regulators and to ensure a strong and consistent global control environment, Citi continues to enhance cross-divisional governance and program management. Driving completion of deliverables that are complex, highly time-sensitive and often closely inter-linked is of critical importance when developing efficiency around financial resources. Regulatory deadlines, complex calculations, and a broad spectrum of stakeholders require rigorous project management and the ability to synthesize large data sets into meaningful conclusions. In this role, you will be a part the Strategic Projects team, acting as a catalyst of project progress by communicating with stakeholders, developing analytics, and critically challenging strategy & tactics. You will be involved in the many diverse activities FRM engages in, to support the overall project portfolio and achieve the ICG strategy.
In line with the project-oriented nature of the Strategic Projects Team within ICG FRM, the focus of this role will be to lead and coordinate projects that are of the highest priority for the ICG in the areas of capital planning and RWA accuracy that have implications on the firm s bottom-line and strategic objectives.
The initial focus of this role will be to develop a Framework to improve accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Basel RWA production. The candidate will be a senior member of a soon to be established tactical working group functioning under ICG FRM in close partnership with Capital Planning, Credit Risk and ICG Businesses.
Key Competencies
Subject Matter Expertise
Experience with Banking business model including, products, counterparties, risk profile, earning drivers, and macro-economic implications
Experience with and knowledge of capital planning for large scale financial institutions
Experience with Basel III, including the interpretation and application of regulatory rules
Experience with and knowledge of control environment associated with RWA calculations
Demonstrated history of facilitating and driving initiatives to grow or change the bank in a program or project management capacity
Experience in creating and administering formal bank governance
Strong understanding of bank risk and control frameworks

Qualifications
MBA from top-tier Indian or global Business School and / or Chartered Accountancy
5-6 years relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
Familiarity with large scale data and querying ability is preferred
A demonstrated history of delivering on initiatives
Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a firm
Proven analytical skills for developing data analysis and quantitative strategies
An ability to manage personal workload and agenda independently but in alignment with the priorities of the business unit
Ability to work under pressure in a highly professional Front Office environment
A foundational understanding of bank regulations
