Schedule & Hours
Part-time position
Primarily Mondays & Tuesdays | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Occasional on-call shifts for vacation coverage
Two days per week with team support coverage
Hours may increase during peak summer months
Approximately 2 weeks of full-time training required
Responsibilities
Greet guests and provide professional, friendly service
Answer phones and respond to guest emails for both Hotel Ballard and Ballard Inn
Perform guest check-ins and check-outs using Property Management System
Maintain coffee and beverage station throughout shift
Conduct property walks to identify maintenance needs
Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams
Process payments and reservations accurately
Provide local recommendations, directions, and guest assistance
Supply guest amenities and complete assigned side work
Act as first-level security presence by monitoring guest activity
Qualifications
Minimum 1+ year hotel or hospitality experience preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Professional, positive, and guest-focused demeanor
Comfortable using desktop computers and learning new systems
Ability to follow procedures and complete daily task lists
Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour
