Duties
Greet members and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
Manage check-in and check-out processes using POS systems for memberships, merchandise, and services
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations
Promote gym memberships, classes, and retail products through upselling and product demos to enhance member experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, merchandising retail items effectively
Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring retail displays are attractive and well-maintained
Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about gym hours, programs, and membership options
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
Familiarity with Excel, Glofox, Mindbody, Shopify.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse community effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills essential for creating positive interactions
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience in the fitness industry
