Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Manage incoming phone calls, ensuring effective phone etiquette while addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Maintain organized patient records and manage appointment schedules using computerized systems.
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, proofreading documents, and handling correspondence.
Provide support to dental staff by coordinating patient flow and ensuring all necessary information is readily available.
Handle billing inquiries and process payments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Experience
Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental office procedures is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Proficient in using phone systems and computerized scheduling software.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to type efficiently and accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
