Job Description
The Guest Service Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout their stay. This includes greeting and welcoming guests at the Front Desk, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and responding to inquiries about hotel services and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm and friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask with ease.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk, adhering to Highgate Hotel standards
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and respond promptly to inquiries about hotel services and facilities
• Handle room reservations, cash handling, and credit transactions efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements and Qualifications
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred. Strong computer skills, customer service experience, and flexibility to work long hours are essential. Additionally, the candidate must be able to stand during entire shifts and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. A warm and friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask with ease are also required.
