We represent a leading provider of construction, infrastructure and facility services across the energy & utilities and transport sectors. They are currently looking for a Senior Transactional Counsel to join their front-end transactional-focused team.

This highly respected business is recruiting for an experienced transactional lawyer to join their in-house Legal team based in Melbourne. The team is headed by a group of senior lawyers who have been exposed to various sectors within the construction practice area.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for offering transactional legal support, with your key responsibilities focusing on providing support on our bids and tenders across a range of projects and industries including major social infrastructure, energy including renewables, utilities and telecommunications.

Additionally, you will provide legal assistance to project governance initiatives and where appropriate, report to project governance bodies/forums.
\
We are seeking an individual with 3 + years post-admission experience, preferably in front-end construction from a highly regarded law firm or leading construction company. Experience across the utilities sector (power, water, telecommunications and renewables) is desirable.
\
Key qualifications include strong communication skills, superior analytical and drafting skills, ability to work effectively with clients, autonomy to work independently and in a team environment, and ambition with a desire to excel in your career.
