- 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience - Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

Key job responsibilities - Architect, design, develop and deploy new product features with a focus on UX - Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing experiences - Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews. - Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility. - Work in an agile / scrum environment to deliver high quality software against planned schedules. - Establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and mentor team members on their appropriate application. - Help define and implement standards and promote best practices for the frontend development community including accessibility, performance, localization, scaling using micro-frontends etc. About the team We are part of the NA Global Installments Lending team under Amazon Payment Products organization. The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $1+1,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
