Position Overview:
Uspire is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Front End Mobile App Engineer with expertise in React Native to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a user-friendly and responsive mobile application that integrates various services offered by Uspire, such as our counselor marketplace and test preparation solutions. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create a seamless and engaging user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to define and implement the user interface and user experience for the Uspire mobile app.
• Develop and maintain a high-quality, responsive, and performant mobile application using React Native.
• Work on the design and implementation of user interfaces that enhance the user journey and simplify access to our services.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with the development team to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development to continuously improve the app's performance and features.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Optimize the mobile app for different devices and screen sizes.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for code and development processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile app development using React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Experience with responsive design and UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with additional mobile development frameworks or languages.
• Knowledge of app performance optimization.
• Previous experience with developing e-commerce or marketplace apps.
