Job Summary
A Small family owned hotel seeks a front of house person who will be involved in all front of house duties. An outgoing personality would be essential Accommodation can be supplied. Beauly is a nice small village with a variety of characters and lots of historical connections around the world. We enjoy an informal way of dealing with customers and duties are listed below.
Duties
Greet and assist customers upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring high quality and presentation.
Assist in bartending duties, including mixing drinks and serving beverages to guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
Support catering events as required, helping to set up, serve, and clean up after functions.
Uphold health and safety regulations while providing excellent hospitality to all patrons.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety practices is essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Skills in food preparation and bartending will be advantageous for this role.
A strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial for success in this position.
