Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, organized, and proactive individual to join our team as a Front office cum Admission Counsellor. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will be playing a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our visitors and parents while helping in recruiting and admitting prospective students. The successful candidate will handle all incoming calls, greet guests, guide the parents through the application process, and assist with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our office.
Responsibilities:
● Greet and welcome visitors professionally, and respond to incoming calls & emails to the appropriate personnel or department promptly and courteously.
● Respond to inquiries from parents, visitors, and employees, providing accurate information or directing them.
● Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
● Schedule and maintain appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing information and guidance throughout the admissions process.
● Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
● Support other departments as needed, such as assisting with events or coordinating travel arrangements.
● Ensure compliance with security procedures by issuing visitor badges and monitoring access to the building.
● Maintain the office phone directory and other relevant contact lists.
● Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
● Continuously strive to improve and streamline the processes for better efficiency.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of education, administration or related discipline.
● Proven experience as a Receptionist or in student parent counseling or in a similar customer service role.
● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
● Empathetic and understanding, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
● Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
● Pleasant and professional demeanor, with a positive attitude.
● Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
● Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, if required.
● Knowledge of multiple languages is an advantage but not mandatory.
● Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges whenever required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
