We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to build usable, high-performance, pixel-perfect applications. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between UI design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides, defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with Backend Developers, Copywriters, UX Designers, and UI Designers.
2. Develop high-fidelity user-facing application front-end code, matching design mockups and requirement documents to pixel-perfection.
3. Evaluate implementation feasibility of UX/UI designs with in the constraints of the project
4. Build reusable code, patterns and libraries for future development using best practices.
5. Optimize code/builds for performance and scalability, and where applicable, search engines. Guidelines for these will be provided.
6. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
Requirements
1. Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
2. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
3. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
4. Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
5. In-depth understanding of the entire frontend development process (design, development and deployment)
6. Proficient understanding and working experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, Ajax, Web API, RESTful Web Services and XML.
7. Understanding of CSS pre-processors, such as Sass or Less.
8. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
+. Good understanding / knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks especially React.js. Additionally experience in frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, etc. would be beneficial.
10. Proficient understanding and working experience of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Redux.
11. Must have experience in integrating RESTful API.
12. Proficient understanding of responsive layouts, cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
13. Proficient understanding of SCM tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.
14. Proficient understanding of optimisation techniques such as compression and asynchronicity.
15. Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
