About the role
We are seeking a Cloud frontend developer to help create and build a cutting-edge cloud platform. The individual will lead and be a part of the design and development of the Harman Cloud based platform. The key performance indicator for this role would be to enhance the platform in alignment with the industry standards. This individual will have solid understanding and experience in modern UX/UI development in cloud-based web apps.
What you will Do
Design and implement a cloud management platform that provides provisioning, automation, visibility, optimization capabilities in a multi-cloud environment.
The Front-End Developer will be an integral part of a growing technology team, responsible for the development of user interfaces and user experiences across multiple web applications.
Perform UI/UX (Front-End) development and design frontend/web services integration.
Participate in SCRUM sessions and product reviews.
Follow preferred development methodologies and adhere to development standards.
Develop Code & perform code reviews, design reviews and technically guide the team for cloud development from a UI perspective.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the engineering organization to influence overall system architecture and design.
Work with the architecture team to define the architecture/design and to ensure they are consistent with Cloud best practices and are reasonable to implement from a technical perspective.
You will design, code and work with the team defining the overall platform.
What you Need
Strong proficiency with Svelte (Sapper), Angular/ReactJs, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
Strong experience in building web apps with responsive web design.
Strong expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks including AngularJS and jQuery.
Strong proficiency with web services integration (REST, AJAX) and security.
Ability to work with a team of developers, communicating professionally and effectively.
Ability to work individually and meet assigned deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science
10+ years of relevant experience, and at least 6+ years in Developing Cloud based web applications.
Ability to read, understand & update existing source code.
Must be a part of large global scale production-grade implementation and deployments.
Be capable of developing using an agile methodology, providing daily reviews of code and builds.
Think out of the box when it comes to defining unique ways users can use virtual development platform.
Demonstrate experience owning a feature from requirements analysis through to general availability in market.
Should be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
8+ years of software development experience focusing on frontend technologies.
You understand the unique nature of Cloud Platforms and why they are revolutionizing the way we stay connected and receive information.
Experience of DevOps tool kit, git, Gerrit, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies. (Good to Have)
6.00-10.00 Years
