Job Description
The Frontend (UI) developer role at One.com is a strategic position that helps in developing and maintaining applications for maximum speed and scalability that generate higher customer satisfaction. This role works closely under the guidance of the group head, team lead, design team and product manager. Under standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) procedures, selected candidates will play an important role in our product strategy by developing responsive and intuitive user interfaces of the products as per the roadmap in place. They will be responsible for ensuring the product runs seamlessly and generates a great customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX designs into code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• Implement and maintain front-end architecture and coding standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve the overall user experience.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer/UI Developer.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
• Good to have experience with frontend frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Next, or Vue.js .
• Knowledge of design principles and experience working with design tools (e. g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Mandatory skills: JavaScript, HTML5 CSS3 RESTful APIs, Designing tools (e. g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Optional skills: Frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Next, or Vue.js b) SEO c) Jira d) Confluence.
Behavioural skills:
• Accountability, Discipline, Attention to detail, Planning and Organization, Effective Communication, Quality Focus, Decision Making, Problem-Solving.
• Candidate must have completed B. Tech. or B. E. with Computer Science or Information Technology specialization.
• Candidate must have 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Frontend (UI) Development.
• Keywords: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, jQuery, Responsive web design, Design tools (e. g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch), any frontend framework like React, Angular, Vue.js, etc., Page speed optimization, SEO, Git version control, CI/CD.
