Frontend Engineer
Key Responsibilities:Develop new user-facing features using React.js and JavaScript ES6+ features.Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. What are we looking for:2-3 years of proven work experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+ Features, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux, Context API etc).Familiarity with RESTful APIs.Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.A knack for benchmarking and optimization (use of techniques like Lazy Loading, Memoization etc).Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git. Preferred Qualifications (Good to have):Experience with TypeScript.Familiarity with front-end testing libraries and frameworks.Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.Knowledge of CSS pre-processors, such as SASS or LESS.Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
