Purpose of your role:
As a front-end engineer at Quadeye, you will drive the adoption of application front-end frameworks, as well as software development best practices. You will work with technical leaders in engineering and be involved in product and design discussions to influence and deliver UI/UX into our product. Last, but not least, you will help build the skills of your fellow engineers by setting examples of high-quality code delivered and peer reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact closely with product managers, systems engineers, UX designers to understand product
requirement
• Develop, maintain and ship user-facing features which are robust and scalable
• Improve internal tools and systems by building, standardizing user interfaces across various projects which contribute to our trading infrastructure
• Generate, implement creative ideas about new features or products thereby improving overall user experience
• Improve efficiency of our systems by building and leveraging reusable code and libraries
• Keep up and contribute to latest front-end technologies and practices
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Ideal candidate should have:
• Engineering degree from top institutes in Computer Science(preferred) or any other discipline
• Relevant experience of 1 year as a front-end engineer
• Exceptional track record of delivering high quality web applications or components
• Proficiency with SPA framework such as React (preferable), Angular or Vue
• Strong focus on writing high quality code and ability to deliver it on time
• Good understanding of functional programming and knowledge of ES6/ES7 features
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to overcome them
• Familiarity with application UX design
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple high priority projects
• Willingness to learn and work on new technologies
• Excellent communication skills
