Egnyte is seeking a Frontend Software Development Engineer for the Infrastructure Engineering team. This team builds software that enables enterprise customers’ journey to the cloud, initiates the lifecycle of their data in the cloud. The ideal candidate has a shared passion for building large-scale distributed systems and a keen interest in tackling complexities of integrating diverse subsystems, while collaborating in a global team environment.
What You’ll Do (but is not limited to):
Develop components of the product user interface and maintaining them through the entire product lifecycle.
Maintain constant focus on scalability, performance and robustness of a feature, on the top of base functional implementation
Participating in all stages of software development:
Collaborating with other frontend developers to design, architect, and implement a frontend project
Working closely with QA specialists and backend developers to ensure high quality
Cooperating closely with UX designers and product owners
Coming up with your own ideas for product enhancement and productivity boosts
Your Qualifications:
Experience in developing web applications
Solid knowledge of ES6+, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with React ecosystem (our stack is based on React, Redux, Webpack)
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Worked in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
Knowledge of RESTful web services, SQL is a plus.
Minimum 2-5 years of industry experience in front-end software engineering.
