We are looking to hire a Frontend Software Engineer who has technical experience, to work in the area of Web Banking. You will work together with various other teams as the Customization teams as well as the product development teams in different locations. The whole group is responsible for developing and maintaining our Avaloq solutions.
You are responsible for the implementation of the core technical components and solving technical challenges within the Web Banking Payments area.
Your mission
• Closely collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and other Software Engineers
• Design, develop and maintain UI application solutions within the Web Banking Payments team
• Improve and optimize existing functionalities
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise
• Work and contribute in / to an agile environment, helping us improve our processes and practice
• Write Documentation of implementation
Qualifications
What you need:
• University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Angular 2+, TypeScript
• JavaScript, HTML and CSS/Sass
• Experience working with projects that use web services (REST API and consume JSON)
• NodeJS, npm
• Proficiency in English
• Agile (Scrum) know-how
You will get extra points for the following:
• Testing framework (e.g, Cypress, Jest)
• Git, JIRA, Agile
• Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience developing Web Apps for Banking/Financial Services
• Angular Material, and working with UX designers
• Full-stack experience with Java or Oracle
