Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Fronting Manager Associate who will support ART Fronting Managers by facilitating key process steps in the end-to-end domestic new business, renewal, and endorsement processes.

Reporting to the ART Operational Lead, this role will support the renewal process for existing group captive clients, coordinate the delivery of timely and accurate communication, and manage booking instructions, policy issuance, and captive settlements (wire packages) as per received instructions.

What you will do

Account Servicing Support
o Collaborate with Fronting Managers and Underwriters to provide end-to-end servicing for domestic new business, renewals, and endorsements, following defined service delivery targets and instructions.

Submission Management Processing
o Support documentation in Captive Database, playbook checklist, master list of accounts and Salesforce applications for submission and quote-to-bind stages.

Renewal Process Management
o Facilitate the renewal process for existing group captive clients, ensuring timely communication and documentation.

Policy Booking and Issuance
o Deliver policy booking instructions for accurate policy and reinsurance / captive agreement booking.
o Coordinate the construction and issuance of policy documents per service delivery targets.

Reporting and Analysis
o Perform ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.

Inquiry Response
o Respond to inquiries promptly and appropriately, following the direction and supervision of the manager and / or Fronting Manager.

Account Management
o Review assigned customer cases, prioritize workload, interpret policies and playbooks, and apply discretion within authority to resolve account requirements.

Support for Interactions
o Assist Fronting Managers and Underwriters with distribution partner or customer interactions.

Information Management
o Anticipate captive and underwriting information needs, proactively seeking alternative data sources using underwriting tools to support risk assessment.

Relationship Building
o Build strong working relationships within and outside the team, promoting collaboration.

Special Projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table

Required:

Bachelors’ degree

AND

2+ years of experience in an Underwriting Assistance or Reinsurance role

Preferred:
Experience with Captive Markets
Advanced knowledge with Excel
